John 8: 45-59

(John 8: 45-59) And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?   He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.   Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?   Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye...

John 9: 1-3

(John 9: 1-3). 『 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 』 "Who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?" The disciples asked Jesus. Sin is the original sin of the parents or the sin of his own. His sin means sin committed before being born into this world. It means that there is a sin other than the original sin of flesh received from parents. The other original sin is the original sin made in the kingdom of God. Spirits who followed Satan because they wanted to leave God. Thus, God imprisoned sinful spirits in the flesh. Spirits confined in the flesh are dead because they have lost their relationship with God. So was born a soul. The Bible says in Genesis (2:7). 『 And the LORD God formed man of th...

John 9: 4-12

(John 9: 4-12) I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.   As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.   When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,   And said unto him,  Go, wash in the pool of  Siloam ,  (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.   The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?   Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.   Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?   He answered and said, A man that is called  Jesus  made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me,  Go to the pool of  Siloam , and wash:  and I went and washed, and I received sight.   Then ...

John 9: 13-41

(John 9: 13-41) They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.   Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.   Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.   They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.   But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.   And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?   His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was bo...

John 10: 1-21

(John 10: 1-21) v erily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.   But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.   To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.   And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.   And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.   This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.   I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pastu...

John 10: 22-42

(John 10: 22-42) And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.   And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.   Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.   But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.   My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:   And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.   I and my Father are one.   Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.   Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? ...

John 11: 1-16

(John 11: 1-16) Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.   (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.   When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.   Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Jud æ a again. His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.   But if a man walk in the night...

John 11: 17-24

(John 11: 17-24) Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.   Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:   And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.   Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.   Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.   But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.   Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.   Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.   Martha said, "I believe that if Jesus asks of God, He will give anything." So Jesus said, "The dead will live again", but Martha is thinking of "living again" not present, but resurrection on the last day of the future after the death of the body. What the Lord...

John 11: 28-32

(John 11: 28-32) 『 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.   Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.   The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 』   In a poor town called Bethany, a man named Nasaro died. Then Martha, Lazarus' sister, came out. He told Martha, "Jesus said, "Your brother will rise again." In verse 24, "Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day." ' This is not truth, but doctrine. The doctr...
