John 8: 35-44

(John 8: 35-44)

And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.  I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.  I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

This is what Jesus said to the Jews who came to visit because they believed in Jesus. The Jews who came to Jesus were those who did not dwell in the word of the Lord. Today, people who go to church hold Bible books, study the Bible, sing, pray, and repent, but if they do not abide in the word of the Lord, salvation will be in vain because the word is the food of life that saves the spirit. If people know the word of the Lord well, but do not follow it, they will become hypocrites. Jesus explains the representative image of hypocrites in Matthew 23:23-39.

Jesus gave an example of the Old Testament era's good tithing but abandoning the righteousness, cause, and god contained in it, and pretending to be clean on the outside but full of greed and debauchery in it. Even today, I know the words of the Bible well because I memorize them, but if they show a full of hypocrisy, it means that they are old people. To dwell in the word of the Lord is the only way of self-denial. I die and live a life where Jesus is the master. Then they become disciples of Jesus. Only those who abide in the word of Jesus will experience the truth. To experience means that life itself becomes so. The truth is Jesus Christ.

Millions of people think they believe in Jesus. Jesus says that everyone who sins is a servant of the devil. However, although people have sinned, they think that they are forgiven by the blood of Jesus. Jesus says that those who repent and do not come to the cross cannot apply blood. Why can the will of people and Jesus be so different? Because people misunderstand the Bible. Because they misunderstand the meaning of repentance. Repentance also means reflection, but its true meaning is "to turn away from sin." To turn around means to realize that the way you were going is wrong and turn around. It is turning from the path of sin to the path of life.

By the way, you are thinking the wrong way to turn from the path of sin. They think that it is enough to shed tears and repent. Weeping and repentance do not turn away from sin, but die with Jesus on the cross for sin. The subject who thinks of sin must change. The old man who thinks he is himself constantly reminds and arouses sin. However, people who repent, die with Jesus on the cross, and are born from heaven, think only of the will of God. If people think, "How is that possible," then they are new and old. The old man can be said to be one who does not realize the nature of sin or does not want to escape completely.

The old man is a man full of Satan in the eyes of the Lord. They think they are living a life full of God because they worship, donate, and pray. They think 1% of them are insignificant, but almost 99% of them are Christians. But they will know by looking at the fruit. If the fruit of life does not appear, they belong to the devil. In John 8:41, Jesus said, "Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

What is what your father is doing? Your Father refers to Satan (the devil). Satan is a person who deviates from his position by opposing God because he wants to become like God in the kingdom of God. In the Garden of Eden, it is Satan who made them eat the fruit of the tree that God told the first man not to eat. It is because Satan wants to become like God and Eve's heart, who ate the fruit of good and evil. This is because that heart is rooted in humans under the name of self, the idol of greed. The attribute of self is the idol of greed. It is an idol who wants to be like God. God said, "Do not serve idols." How do you act in front of the Word of God? If he is still serving the idol of self, he is a child of Satan (the devil).

In You are born of your father, the devil,, the word "born" means that you belong to the devil. It is not a demon, it is a Devils. In Greek, it is Diablos (accuser). Satan accuses God. Those who follow their words accuse them of their own. Even though Jesus said that Jews who believed in him were children of the devil, he did not believe. In 8:45, "And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Even today, many devil children are sitting in the church thinking that they are the people of God. That is why they are called blind and deaf. They say that they are blind and deaf to the kingdom of God. They cannot see and hear what they say to themselves through the Bible.

The reason why the Jews who claim to believe in Jesus cannot abide in the Word is explained in John 12:39-40: "Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. Here the word correction means forgiveness. In Isaiah, it was expressed as forgiveness of sins. If you do not repent, it is said, "God does this."

Those who do not repent cannot trust God. Those who do not repent cannot believe because the gift of faith does not come from heaven. The Jewish belief that they believe in Jesus is a fake faith like a placebo. Therefore, it is a lie to say, "If you do not repent and just believe in Jesus, you will be saved." Those who have never repented are those who do not even know the meaning of entering into the cross of Jesus because they do not know the revelation of Christ of the death on the cross.

In John 13:36, Jesus said, "Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. ' The disciples lived with Jesus for three years and witnessed a great sight, but Jesus said, "You cannot follow the cross." This means that even today no one can follow without repentance. In John 13:37-38, ``Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
