John 8: 33-34

(John 8: 33-34)

They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?  Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Jews who believed in Jesus came to Jesus. But Jesus said, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 』 Believing in Jesus does not save you, but you must become a disciple who lives in the Word of God. The Jews believe that the ``Jewish faith'' and the ``disciplinary faith'' that dwells in the words of Jesus are different from each other. The ``belief that the truth frees up'' is a discipleship. When you are saved.

When the Jews said, "We have never been slaves, do you tell us to be free?" Jesus said, "If we sin, we are slaves to sin." Today it says, "Believe in Jesus, if you believe in Jesus, all sins are forgiven with the blood of Jesus." By the way, Jesus said, "Is he a slave to sin? Or are you free from sin?” Those who say they believe want "wash away from sin", and Jesus wants to "freeze people from the slaves of sin."

Humans have no power to overcome sin. By the way, Jesus said, "To those who are united with him, he frees them from the servant of sin. It is salvation to escape from sin. However, many churches do not escape from sin, but only seek forgiveness of sins with the blood of Jesus. To escape from sin is to enter the cross of Jesus. Salvation is not in the forgiveness of sins, but in the death of the old man (soul) who sins. Only when the old man dies, just as God resurrected the dead Jesus, the resurrection life comes in to bring the dead spirit to life. This is regeneration. Without regeneration, all doctrines have no effect.

Why are people only interested in washing away their sins? This is because the soul of “self” does not want to die. So, because sin cannot be overcome, people sin every day and try to be forgiven. The soul is the root of sin. The soul is a sin-causing evil and an old man who loves the world. Because in the soul there is an idol of evil greed. So, if the soul does not die, it is a daily sin. The soul does not disappear until the body dies. But he who denies himself on the cross of Jesus dies. His wife is the death of the soul. The important thing is to know what kind of beings “the ones who say they believe” became in the sight of the Lord. You must know whether you are a "soul being", a servant of sin, or a "spiritual being" who becomes a disciple of Jesus.

The way to become a disciple of the Lord must live in 『In the Word of the Lord』. The word “in the word of the Lord” means “the relationship between the Lord and discipleship”. If you do not enter into a relationship with the Lord, you cannot know the truth and you cannot experience the truth. When we experience the truth, it means "the truth sets us free." The truth is Jesus Christ. So repentance is the change of the master, from the master of ``I'' to Jesus Christ. When we dwell in the Word of God, Jesus becomes our teacher and we become his disciples. This means that you will experience the truth and you will be free from sin. That's what Jesus does.

Today, in many churches, “How does man repent? Doesn't complete repentance occur only with the help of the Holy Spirit of the Lord?” This is a combination of the two and the devil has made a statement that is not in the Bible. If you hold on to it, repentance is impossible. The Bible said, "The mind of the flesh becomes the mind and the enemy of God. That is why many people caught by the devil mix appropriately, saying, "The thoughts of the flesh cannot be self-repentant."

Who lives in the word of the Lord and becomes a disciple? Is it by the Holy Spirit or by man? Man will do Who's the person? Is it the soul or the spirit? The living spirit will do it. This is because when you repent and be born again, the spirit will come alive. So who does repentance? Conscience do it. Because it is repentance that the soul dies. Just as darkness can escape from darkness when he sees the light of God and realizes that he is darkness, he must realize that he is the one who must die before God. This is the big secret.

What are I in? We must pray, "Lord, who am I?" Jesus said in John 8:41, ``Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. In other words, you are saying that you are "the existence that cannot be repaired by yourself." However, the Pharisees said, ``We have Heavenly Father.'' It does not mean that we are saved just because we confess that we are biblically correct.

Jesus said in 8:42, ``Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 』 When people come from Heavenly Father, they must love Jesus. To love Jesus is to be united with Jesus on the cross. You have to deny yourself.
