John 20:30-31

(John 20:30-31)

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

This is the story after Jesus' resurrection. The disciples witnessed the resurrection of Jesus. Thomas met Jesus last among his disciples. We can believe in Christ because we are called of God. So Peter experienced numerous miracles. But as Peter walked on the water, he continued to look to the Lord. He drowned because he looked at the storm. Only when we look to the Lord can we receive spiritual life from God. The disciples saw Jesus on the water, Peter falling into the water, and drowning Peter. This is what the observer sees. Observers are not chosen. The observer is not the main character. The chosen ones are not crowds, but like batters at bats.

Jesus said in John (14: 1), Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. . Jesus said in John (16:30).

Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus said again in John (16:32).

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

There must be repentance between the one who is called and the one who is chosen. Although sinners are called by God's one-sided grace, those who are called learn to fail to keep God's one-sided covenant. In order to meet the conditions God desires, the called one must unite with the death of Jesus Christ. That is why sinners are chosen. Not only the one who is called can receive Jesus, but only those who are united with Jesus who died on the cross can receive Jesus.

Mark (4:12) speaks of those who do not participate in the death of Jesus Christ.

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. This is a quote from Isaiah. People will not respond to God's will. The Israelites did not repent. So God brought the people to Babylon. If the sinner does not repent, God does not make him realize. If we do not repent, we will not be forgiven. To repent is to turn.

Today, in the church there is a mixture of the called and the chosen because they are divided into those who share in the death of Jesus Christ and those who see the death of Jesus Christ. This is like a baseball field divided into spectators and players on the field. So are those who are born again and those who are not born again. This is the same situation of the disciples before Jesus' death. They ran away before Jesus' death. If we do not repent, we cannot participate in his death. Old life(not reborn) knows that Jesus is the Son of God, but Jesus is not master to them. This is the flesh. The flesh must die with Jesus . Most people in the church have their faith. Those who are not born again believe in themselves. When Jesus becomes our master, we can be saved from God.

The chosen  fear God. John (20:31) speaks of the chosen.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

This leads from faith to faith. "By that name" means "in the name." Those who are in Christ are in the name of Christ. Unless they are buried with Jesus Christ, they are not in Christ. It is said in Romans (6:4) that sinners must be buried with Christ only to have a new life.

In John (1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Those who are buried with Jesus Christ and are in Christ receive Jesus. The church says that when we receive Jesus, we are saved, but unless we are buried with Christ, the reception is not accomplished. It is illegal. So it is a fake gospel.
In John 1:13 says:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The dead with Christ become the new life received from God. This is the word of truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.” “The truth will make you free. These words are found only in the Gospel of John because the Gospel of John speaks to the born again. Matthew, Mark, and Luke speak to those who are called. So the word of repentance is mentioned, but the word truth is not mentioned, because the word truth is to bury with Christ. But the content of the Gospel of John is for the chosen. Matthew, Mark, and Luke don't speak of Tabernacles, but only the Gospel of John tells of Tabernacles.

If the church speaks to believers called the words of the Gospel, it is a religious danger. Although we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, when we die with Jesus, we are saved only by getting life from God. Those who watch Jesus' death and those who participate are different. Those who are united with the cross of Jesus are those who look with himself to be dead on the cross. Those who look to the dead lamb and those who are associated with the dead lamb are clearly different.

Leviticus said: Honey should not be added to the bread used in the temple. Today, the church must speak bitter words, not honey-like words. It is not a word of testimony, a word of miraculous signs, but a word fruitful that are buried with Christ. People apply to paint honey to the living bread (Jesus) who died on the cross. The bread is not Jesus praised by men, but Jesus died on the cross. If you do not hold on to the Jesus of the cross, God is not pleased. We must enter into Jesus Christ, who died on the cross.

So we must be like the dead. The name "Jesus' name" is the name of Jesus crucified on the cross that is ignored by people. The apostle Paul confesses, "I decided to know nothing but Jesus, who died on the cross." This is the one who repents. If we do not repent, we will not have the life to obtain the name. If you do not repent, you will be like Lot's wife. The angel said to Lot's wife: "Don't look back, don't stay, go to the castle I have commanded." But she looked back and became a pillar of salt. .
